Empowering Kids and Families — Overview
We believe family groups should be the primary faith formers for their children. Resources from Logosdor support families, especially parents, to carry out this vital, life-long task.
Developed in collaboration with partners around the world, Logosdor’s work is shaped by seeing family and community as our first mission field. In addition, good resources bring families together, to grow in godliness and to love each other more selflessly.
In God’s mercy, sometimes children are the ones through whom the message of Jesus enters the home. Logosdor rejoices in serving God with children, and not just doing ministry for children or targeting resources at them.

Some years ago, a member of our team was doing some leader training in Bolivia. In the first row were two children, aged 10 and 12. Presuming they were there with their parents, he asked them who they had come with. “We came alone.” He asked to know more. “We are pastors of our church. We lead a church of street children in the sewers of La Paz. We were given a disc of Spanish resources called 2fish5bread. We have used them all and we want more.”
Prior to this, Logosdor had worked with the Global Children’s Forum to gather Bible resources in many languages and to send them anonymously for free. The 2fish5bread CD contained 800 resources in 17 languages. Get more information here.
