We believe that God made us and loves us — all of us. Jesus came to tell us this in a way we should never forget. Jesus died because He loves us. After three days, he came back to life. Then He went up to heaven where He sits at God’s right hand.
He died for us because we don’t live God’s way. We are sinful and, left to ourselves, would be far from God. By dying, Jesus took the punishment for our sin. By rising from the dead, Jesus showed us that He is stronger than death, and we can have eternal life with God.
We believe that all followers of Jesus are part of one loving family, called the church. This includes all the people who meet together, in many different ways around the world. Jesus loves the church so much, He described it as his own body.
We believe that Jesus is in Heaven and has given His Holy Spirit to all His followers. Through being with us, the Holy Spirit helps us to grow in love so that we can be strong followers of Jesus, part of His strong, faithful church.
We believe in taking the Gospel message to children. Jesus instructed His followers to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19) and that included taking the Gospel to children.
Many disciples of Jesus choose to follow Him when they are young, however the majority of global mission resources concentrate on sharing the Gospel with adults. Let’s aim lower!
We believe that the good news of Jesus will spread if people share it. So we create ways of sharing the Gospel with children, helping them to follow Jesus and to share the good news with their friends. We find creative ways of communicating with children, wherever they are in the world.
We believe that we don’t have all the answers. We are just a few people in one part of the world. We are creative, dreaming up new and exciting ways to share the Gospel, adding our gifts to the gifts of others, sharing resources, inspiration, knowledge and training. We want our work to be used by anyone sharing Jesus with children. No brand. No charge. Released from copyright.
Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3
Logosdor’s constitution affirms its basis of belief as recorded in the Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
