It’s about a person or a team working together to consider things afresh, gaining surprising perspectives and mapping out a process to find answers to questions.
Teams in many places have used this tool in effective ways: identifying ministry direction, small business innovation, social media target, evangelism priorities and even writing a family meal plan!
The popular international program, family.fit, came out of a ThinkRamp process, undertaken in South Africa in March 2020.
A small group of leaders from a bunch of global movements were praying. They were challenged with creating a resource that would draw families together as they had fun together while exploring part of the Bible.
One of the barriers to overcome was the busy-ness of families, and the challenge of getting everyone together at once. When would the whole family be at home at the one time, locked up, not allowed to go to work, school or outside to play? Well, in 2020 actually.
family.fit was born at that gathering, about three days before the world locked down! Within two weeks, the first lessons of family.fit were up online with new lessons going up every week for the following 18 months, in a total of 25 languages.
